This joint is essential for various activities, including walking, running, and jumping, as it allows for a wide range of motion while providing stability and support.

    The knee joint consists of several key components, including bones, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. The primary bones involved are the femur, tibia, and patella (kneecap). The ends of these bones are covered with cartilage, which serves to cushion the joint and reduce friction during movement.
